Pete, thank you for your reply.

What a great example of the Act of Attraction. Seemingly small actions aligned with your vision resulted in more than you'd have hoped for. I'm looking forward to seeing BeepTreat gain Traction - and I know it will :-)

Great article Tamsen, thank you. Adds the critical element to the whole "law of attraction" stuff; which is good but not enough.
Also explains why KPIs work in a business (or why they make things wrong!)

Love this, experienced attraction on the basis of visualisation and action just yesterday.

There was one person in the UK I really wanted to meet to talk to about a project I am involved in. The were the head of a national purchasing organisation that is created by and nationally manages the supply chain of a key sector my company is focusing on.

I didn't know their name but I knew their role and what it represented to me in terms of the business it would create.

Through taking action in another and what I thought was a completely unrelated direction, one that was in the same sector but at a completely different level to the dream prospect. I took a small step and set up a meeting, as it happened I ended up in a meeting that had three people in it.

One was the person I had set the meeting up to see and the other was exactly the one individual I had hoped to meet above all others, someone that I had thought was going to be a difficult one to get to. Someone that I thought I was going to have to pitch to in front of a massive room full of people but instead I was sat quietly winning her trust over a sandwich.

I am still amazed today that this has happened but I have already got meeting number two in the diary. Bonkers but very powerful stuff.

I would tend to agree with all the sentiments expressed here.

Integrity needs consistency for sure and if a person who has integrity makes a mistake or produces below a required standard s/he will be amongst the first to acknowledge it.

It definitly is not about what someones says they are like. It is recognised and appreciated by others who witness the words and deeds of the person in question.

Like in so many relatinoships we never really know what someone is like until there is a difficult situation to deal with and the behaviour, attitude and demeanour can be truly seen. Some people fail at this point when self interest or lack of judgement come into play.

Great question Tamsen...

A good description of Integrity I posted on my Facebook wall the other day was...

"Integrity is doing the right thing even when someone isn't watching"

Whatever it is and however we see it... Integrity is something to be admired and worked hard at to develop... when we see it in others we know it is good...

Great article Tamsen, on something that is very important.
Anticipation is very important (and enjoyable at times), but when we don't get what we expected it is often not the other persons fault.
I love the paragraph about controlling our own reactions

I posted a similiar post a while ago - a definite and very strong link between the two and I think they grow in parallel step-by-step. It can really help to acknowlege even the tiny day by day successes like calling a client or figuring out a piece of web tech, or making a connection with someone we value. If we can do that and celebrate at every step of the way we can build more confidence and of course more success!

Lovely post Tamsen :)
